Biography:
Wardrobe, also known as Madame de la Grande Bouche, is a supporting character in Disney's animated film, Beauty and the Beast (1991). She is a sentient wardrobe living within the Beast's enchanted castle.
Before the curse, Wardrobe was a talented opera singer serving the Prince. The enchantment transformed her into a large, ornate wardrobe, retaining her vibrant personality and dramatic flair.
Wardrobe is fiercely protective of Belle, often using her storage space to provide her with beautiful gowns. She is also somewhat vain, always concerned about her appearance and the state of her drawers. Her booming voice and dramatic pronouncements provide comic relief throughout the film.
